Murdered

On August 1, 2013, Augustus McClain, a 36-year-old resident of the Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood in Pittsburgh, was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle in the Homewood neighborhood. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Murtland and Mt. Vernon Streets. According to authorities, McClain was shot multiple times in the head, torso, and arms. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the shooting occurred.
