Tyrek Jones, a 29-year-old man, was tragically murdered on December 29, 2014, in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. when Philadelphia police responded to reports of a shooting on the 2300 block of West Glenwood Street. Upon arrival, officers found Tyrek Jones lying in front of a residence with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately rushed to Temple University Hospital in a patrol vehicle, but despite medical intervention, he was pronounced dead later that night.
