Ramar Grant, a 26-year-old resident of the Garfield neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot on August 13, 2015. The incident occurred in the stairwell of the Bedford Dwellings Apartment complex in the Hill District, located on the 2400 block of Bedford Avenue. Authorities were called to the scene shortly after midnight, and Ramar was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
