On May 19, 2016, Lamar Henderson, a 30-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed in a tragic incident that remains unsolved. Around 3:22 p.m., Philadelphia police officers responded to a report of gunfire on the 2600 block of Dickinson Street. Henderson was found inside a 2016 Toyota Corolla, having sustained gunshot wounds to his head and chest. Emergency medical personnel rushed him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon.
