On June 10, 2016, Atif Smith, a 31-year-old resident of Horsham, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot in Philadelphia. The incident occurred on June 7 at around 1:06 a.m. when police officers responded to the 5400 block of Hunter Street, where they found two victims involved in a shooting. One of the victims, a Black male, was found with a gunshot wound to his back and was pronounced dead at the scene.
