Li Yang Yuan, a 29-year-old woman, was found murdered in Portland, Oregon, on July 3, 1991. Yuan had recently immigrated from China and was living in the Portland area at the time of her death. She was found in her apartment, the victim of a violent attack. The case has remained unsolved for decades despite initial investigations.
