On May 12, 1995, Catherine Ashford, a 35-year-old Tulsa woman, was found shot to death in her home by her 10-year-old daughter and a co-worker. Catherine had failed to pick up her daughter from school, leading to their discovery of the tragedy. Investigators found no signs of forced entry, indicating that the perpetrator might have been someone known to Catherine.
