Larry Irving, aged 46, was shot and killed on November 8, 2007, in southeast San Diego. The incident was a targeted attack, and it was determined to be gang-related. According to reports, Larry Irving had allegedly disrespected a local gang, which led to his being singled out. The shooting was carried out by gang member Maurice David Tucker, who, along with another individual, confronted Irving, leading to his death.
