Frank Hayworth, a 24-year-old Black man from Oklahoma City, was shot to death in the summer of 2007 during a brief, violent encounter inside a house in the northeast part of the city. On the night of July 3, officers were dispatched after reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived at the residence, they found Hayworth inside, mortally wounded from the shooting.
