On December 11, 2012, 58-year-old Deepak Bhasin, a retired doctor, was found stabbed to death in his home in northwest Oklahoma City. Bhasin had called 911 that evening, around 7:30 p.m., reporting that he was under attack. When police arrived at his residence on San Nicholas Drive, they discovered his body with multiple stab wounds. Despite his call for help, Bhasin was pronounced dead at the scene, marking Oklahoma City's 95th homicide of 2012.
