On July 8, 1970, William Deveraux, aged 60, was found dead on the riverbank near 373 W. Rich Street in Columbus, Ohio. He had sustained numerous lacerations to both the front and back of his head. Deveraux was pronounced dead on arrival. The Columbus Police Department has been investigating this case, but it remains unsolved to this day.
