On August 11, 1976, Jane Louise Allan, a 13-year-old girl from Royal Oak, Michigan, was found dead in the Great Miami River in Miamisburg, Ohio. Jane's body was discovered about three-quarters of a mile south of the Linden Avenue bridge, with her hands tied behind her back and her ankles bound with a white cloth and string.
