On November 14, 1979, Melinda Haines was found dead in Dayton, Ohio. She was murdered under circumstances that remain unclear, and her case has since remained unsolved. Melinda was 23 years old at the time of her death. She was discovered near Hoover Dam in Dayton, and her cause of death was identified as multiple stab wounds. The Dayton Police Department took charge of the investigation, but significant progress was never made, and no suspects have been formally identified.
