On May 26, 1980, William White, aged 40, was found dead in a Knights Inn Motel located near Interstate 75 and Tylersville Road in Union Township, which is now known as West Chester, Ohio. White, who had driven up from Georgia with a female acquaintance, was visiting several people in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. He was attempting to establish business relationships involving strip tease shows. White was discovered in his motel room, having suffered blunt force trauma. His vehicle, a silver Trans Am with Florida plates, was also noted at the scene.
The homicide investigation is under the jurisdiction of the West Chester Police Department, and the case remains unsolved. Authorities have been seeking further information from the public to assist in resolving this incident.
