On May 28, 1990, Yun Mo Yang, a 55-year-old man, was found dead behind the Kahiki Restaurant on East Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Police Department identified the location of the incident at the rear of 3583 East Broad Street in Franklin County. The case has been treated as a homicide, with the exact circumstances of his death remaining unclear. Despite the investigation efforts over the years, the homicide remains unsolved.
