Walter Blackshear was killed on May 28, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, in what remains an unsolved homicide. The incident occurred at the rear of 2259 Ontario Street in Columbus, Franklin County. Blackshear, who was thirty-nine years old at the time, sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The Columbus Police Department has been investigating the case, but it remains unsolved years after the incident took place.
