Jonathan Dubose, a 44-year-old Black man from Birmingham, Alabama, was killed in a late-April shooting that left investigators searching for answers in the city’s southwest area. Police were dispatched on a Monday to the 4300 block of Park Avenue Southwest, where they found him lying at the edge of the road, shot, and he died at the scene.
