On January 9, 2002, Charles James "Chuckie" Weidinger Jr., aged 21, was shot and killed in Toledo, Ohio. The incident occurred late in the evening at around 11 p.m. at his home on Beaumont Avenue. According to police reports, Charles had gone outside to move his vehicle into the garage when he was shot. Responding officers found him lying on the floor of the garage, suffering from a gunshot wound.
