On June 17, 2007, Alu Jeter, a 28-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed during a home invasion and robbery at his apartment on South Seymour Avenue. Jeter was known in the local community as a rap music producer and was also reportedly involved in drug activities. On that day, two girls, Brittany Boggan and her friend, entered Jeter's apartment under the pretense of hanging out, while four other individuals, including Jeremy Dudley, waited for a signal to enter and rob him.
