On January 17, 2008, Jamil Cotton, a 27-year-old man, was found dead at his apartment located at 455 East 18th Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Cotton had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his leg, which ultimately led to his death. Authorities were called to the scene on the same day, but despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved.
