On October 21, 2011, James E. Hargrove, a 31-year-old man, was shot and killed outside the King of Clubs bar, located at 1573 E. Dublin-Granville Road in the northeast part of Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place around 1:15 a.m., and when police arrived, they found Hargrove with a gunshot wound to the chest in the parking lot. He was quickly transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
