On February 20, 2024, 17-year-old Josiah Sims was fatally shot in southeast Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 4:40 pm at the intersection of Holburn Avenue and Moler Road in the Millbrook neighborhood. Columbus police responded to the scene and found Sims suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 5:20 pm.
