Chris Dearmond Sr., a 43-year-old barber from Springfield, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on the morning of March 17, 2012. The incident occurred inside the New Flavor Barber Shop located at 1833 South Yellow Springs Street, where Dearmond was reportedly alone at the time. He was shot multiple times, and despite being airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, he succumbed to his injuries. According to police, he was shot twice, including once in the head.
