On February 6, 2017, Martell Stewart, a 25-year-old man, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 9:47 a.m., police officers and paramedics were dispatched to 787 Canonby Place following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Martell Stewart lying in the parking lot between two parked vehicles, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 10:27 a.m.
