Rodney Kenneth Watkins, a 19-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, Ohio, was found dead on October 17, 2019, along Interstate 71 near Columbus, Ohio. His body was discovered by a passerby on a rural stretch of the highway in Range Township, Madison County. The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and identified Watkins after notifying his family. The investigation into his death was handled by the Madison County Sheriff's Office, which determined that Watkins was shot ...
