On November 6, 2017, 18-year-old Isaiah Hoskins was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. Columbus police responded to multiple reports of gunshots and discovered Isaiah in an alley. He was transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at 8:33 p.m.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office lists this case among their unsolved homicides, seeking information from anyone who might have relevant details to help solve the crime. In 2020, a suspect named Dametrius Watters was indicted for the murder, suggesting some development in the investigation, though it remains unresolved for Isaiah’s family.
