On August 27, 2017, Devon Williams, aged 27, was found fatally wounded in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 4:43 p.m. when officers were dispatched to Mount Carmel West Hospital after a walk-in shooting victim was reported. Devon had been shot once in the upper body, and despite being taken to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. The exact location of the shooting was near the intersection of I-70 East and State Route 315.
