In the early hours of September 2, 2026, the life of 20-year-old Samuel Carpenter, a White male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Kennewick, Washington. The incident unfolded just after 3:00 a.m. in the vicinity of 8th Avenue and Fir Street, where Kennewick Police officers responded to reports of gunfire.
