On the morning of August 12, 2026, the life of 30-year-old Shaelynn Maria Moore was tragically cut short in her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania apartment in the Northview Heights neighborhood. The incident unfolded around 9:15 a.m. when the city's ShotSpotter system detected gunfire, prompting a police dispatch to the 100 block of Hazlett Street. Inside the residence, officers discovered a harrowing scene: Shaelynn and 24-year-old Mark Allen Jones were both found with fatal gunshot wounds.
