In the late afternoon of August 15, 2026, the city of Goldsboro, North Carolina, was shaken by a violent act that claimed the lives of two young men. Tristen William Mason, a 20-year-old from the nearby town of Dudley, was fatally shot in a double homicide. The incident also resulted in the death of 20-year-old Nasire Green of Goldsboro.
