In the late afternoon of Friday, August 21, 2026, the city of Gonzales, Louisiana, was rocked by a violent incident that claimed the lives of two young men, including 17-year-old Tegan Daigle. Responding to reports of gunfire shortly after 4 p.m., Gonzales Police Department officers arrived at a residence on East Caldwell Street to a grim scene.
