Jarniece Latonya Hargrove was a 31-year-old Black woman from the Rocky Mount area of North Carolina whose disappearance became part of a disturbing series of deaths involving women found in rural Edgecombe County. Although June 29, 2009 is sometimes recorded as her death date, contemporary reporting shows that this was actually the date her skeletal remains were discovered.
