In the summer of 2026, the life of 23-year-old Christopher Blakely was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. On the morning of Saturday, July 18, a person walking along Holmes Avenue made a grim discovery. In a ditch near Larkspur Drive, they found an unresponsive male and immediately contacted emergency services. When Jackson Police Department officers from Precinct 3 arrived at the scene, they found Blakely deceased. The cause of death was determined to be from gun violence.
