On July 3, 2011, 42-year-old Timothy Staten was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Carmine Street. Staten was found by responding officers with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
