On the night of July 31, 2026, a burst of violence in a north Columbus, Ohio neighborhood claimed the life of 23-year-old Mar Shawn Oliver Johnson and left another person hospitalized. The incident unfolded around 10:05 p.m. in the 4300 block of Le Marie Court, near Morse Road. Responding to reports of a shooting, Columbus police officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.
