Jordan G. Martin, a 17-year-old African American male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on July 17, 2017. He was shot and killed following an altercation at an Exxon gas station located at 693 E. Fifth Ave. The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m., and despite being rushed to Grant Medical Center, Jordan was pronounced dead within 40 minutes. The altercation that led to the shooting remains under investigation, with police actively searching for suspects.
