On November 24, 2012, Willie Byars, a 38-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed at a house on Shady Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police responded to the scene after receiving a call about an assault with a deadly weapon around 8:30 p.m. Byars was found deceased when officers arrived.
