On a summer day in Charlottesville, Virginia, the quiet life of an elderly couple came to a tragic end. Lillie Coleman Morris, 84 years old, and her husband, Dewey Lee Morris, 86, were discovered deceased in their home on June 21, 2026. The cause of their deaths was determined to be from gunshot wounds. Authorities from the Albemarle County Police Department were called to the residence in the 5000 block of Heritage Hall Road, where they found the couple.
