In the late hours of a Wednesday night in El Dorado, Arkansas, the life of 31-year-old Markivia Holmes was tragically cut short. On June 24, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers from the El Dorado Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of South Gill Street following reports of a shooting.
