On August 16, 2014, Ray Allison Jr., aged 31, was found shot to death inside his car outside Auto Toyz, a business on North Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police were alerted by individuals arriving at the location, who noticed him in the vehicle. Authorities confirmed that Allison, a father from Kannapolis, had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
