On November 5, 2016, 43-year-old Everette Thomas Lynn was found shot inside a vehicle on Independence Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina. Emergency personnel discovered him at approximately 3:47 a.m., and he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound. Lynn, a local barber and father of three, became yet another victim of gun violence in the city. His murder remains part of the ongoing investigations in Charlotte, and the case has yet to be resolved.
