In the pre-dawn hours of July 5, 2026, the life of 23-year-old VT Wood-Davion Olden Hornsby was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire outside an after-hours nightclub in northeast Austin, Texas. The chaotic scene unfolded in the crowded parking lot of Bare Cabaret, where an altercation escalated into a double homicide, also claiming the life of 19-year-old Layla Williamson.
