Michael Brent Charles Ramos, a 42-year-old Black and Hispanic man, was killed on April 24, 2020, in Austin, Texas. The incident occurred when Austin police officers responded to a call about illegal drug activity at a southeast Austin apartment complex. The caller reported that Ramos had a gun, but no weapon was found at the scene.
