On the evening of May 27, 2026, the life of 26-year-old Xavier Zykei Johnson was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting at an apartment complex on Bridgepoint Drive in Duncan, South Carolina. A male, Johnson was a man who had dedicated his life to service, first as a United States Marine Corps veteran and subsequently as a firefighter with the Reidville Fire Department.
