Kristie Lynn Adkins, a 43-year-old White woman, died on May 28, 2026, after a deputy-involved shooting in the Vance area of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The shooting happened early that morning at a home in the 13000 block of Gladys Drive, where Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputies had gone to serve warrants on her brother, 36-year-old Ricky Adkins.
