On the afternoon of May 28, 2026, 35-year-old Katrina Wheeler of Seguin, Texas, was shot and killed while she was putting groceries into her vehicle in the parking lot of a Walmart. The incident occurred at approximately 4:50 p.m. at the store located at 550 S. Highway 123 Bypass.
