In the early morning hours of June 6, 2026, the vibrant nightlife of downtown Wilmington, North Carolina, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 23-year-old Emir Moore. Moore, a graduate of New Hanover High School where he played on the varsity football team, was known by friends and family for his sweet and quiet nature.
