Damon D. Nesmith, a 53-year-old man, was killed in a shooting at a home on Curry Court in Lumberton, New Jersey, in what authorities described as a murder-suicide. Online reports based on statements from Burlington County authorities say Lumberton police were called to the residence at about 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, after a report of gunfire.
