Alex Julian Calderon, a 16-year-old male from Lamont, was fatally shot after gunfire broke out late Saturday night, May 2, 2026, in southeast Bakersfield. Deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 100 block of East Pacheco Road, east of South Union Avenue, at about 10:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two juvenile victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
