A college freshman's remains are found after she was last seen leaving a tavern
Katherine "Kathy" Kolodziej, a 17-year-old SUNY Cobleskill student, disappeared on November 2, 1974, after leaving a local bar, the Vault Tavern, in Cobleskill, New York. She was last seen walking alone back to her dormitory, but she never made it. Her body was found 26 days later, on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 1974, in a remote area near MacDonald and Cross Hill Roads in Richmondville, approximately 10 miles from where she was last seen.
