A college freshman's remains are found after she was last seen leaving a tavern
In the autumn of 1974, Katherine Kolodziej, a 17-year-old female, had just begun her freshman year at the State University of New York at Cobleskill, embarking on a future filled with promise. Originally from Ronkonkoma on Long Island, she was an only child with a passion for animals, particularly horses, which she was studying at the agricultural and technical college. Described as quiet and kind, she had been on campus for only two months when her life was tragically cut short.
